Old School PSP

Judge me, but only by the time of date when this was made. Probably one of my very first models I did in 3DS Max. That date though, almost SEVEN years ago! For some reason I was thinking, "PSP. IN. SPACE."[echo-ey voice]

Seven flippin' years ago. I was still in my teens! D:

Mean Buggin'

It's getting warm outside, which only means one thing...bugs. Monday weather didn't get out of the 30's(-1C) and today, we got up to 87F(30.5C). May be a little harder to get to these models, as I'll be working 7 days a week, but gosh darn it I'm gonna try!

Girlish Figure

Trying my luck at human faces. [excuse the hair, just didn't want her bald] There's a certain face I'm aiming for, but just can't seem to get it yet.

Dat Tail G Project

Yep, so I'm still sick, not to mention I'm going to start working 60 hour weeks from Monday to Saturday's NOT on a computer. :[ I'll have a very limited time frame to get anything done on the computer for a while. Damn, you student loans! :shakes fists:

Anyways, in between the coughing up of blood(j/k no blood) and sleepless nights, double interviews, and whatever else the world is throwing at me, I finally got around to putting a tail on. There, dammit!

I'd still like to put plating on his legs, but it'll have to be later on in the distant future, most likely.

Sad days. :[

Had fun with this and glad people on DeviantArt enjoyed it. At least there was some limelight in all this chaos.

G Project Color

Still the same as the other, WIP. Added color, but will still brush it up better around the face and hands, as I think they're too saturated.

Still recovering from the flu so progress will be a bit slow.

100 Posts - G-Project

So I was digging around in my hard drives and found one of my first full body models from about 5+ years ago, when I tried zbrush for the first time. Oh, the things I've learned over the years: brushes, subtly, but what I think the most important is anatomy.

The top guy was to be apart of a fighting game a couple of colleagues, including myself were putting together back in our hay day of Game Design. He was more concept than an asset, which ultimately wasn't used for game play, but I do recall it being rigged and animated in a short fight scene. I have NO idea who has that clip anymore.

The bottom is a more of a fan art, to the game aforementioned in previous posts, he's not done just yet. I still need to put some spikes atop his head and a tail, not to mention make up what I think its back plating and tail will look like, since I found no concepts showing the back.

I didn't want to post until he was finished, but I just got the flu so I need to get some rest in the time being. Little too anxious to let people marvel in its glory and show the progress I've made.

Puzzle Pieces - G Project

Putting some pieces together, mirroring shtuff, I've already added details to the neck and chest, as well as coloring, but that's for a later post because I wanted to show progress shots.

Extracted the top part of the skull, sort of like an exoskeleton, added some form to the mouth, and through in some teeth.

Coming up on 100 posts, I should do one of those, "This was me at this long ago. This is me now." I'll be off for a day or two for a family matter. Be back soon

Processed Goods - G project

Ran across some concept art for a monster on an upcoming game from 2K, which was pretty dope. Quite a bit of different designs for the head so I picked the one that had the most progress.

Happy's Back!

From my digital sketch to digital sculpt, my happy ass dragon/snake thing.
That perspective shot in the middle reminds me of those 80's style portrait pictures turned memes. I can see this turning into some sort of tv commercial where they do the same editing, only this guy is singing love songs....maybe that's the sleeplessness talking. Whatevs.

The Colors, Duke, The Colors!

I'm color-blind, kid. :|

Someone's happy! :D
My New England Patriots won over the weekend, my old stompin' grounds team also made it(San Francisco). It was an okay weekend.

It's like someone took a bite of a rainbow or ate a unicorn. D:

Wrankles

Wrankles everywhere! And bomps! Decided to keep going, I was in the zone. Finer details on the mid and higher body, as well the head.

Got a Leg up...or two

Basic form for the legs...it's got some super hero feet, now that I'm looking at it. Do a little more after next, since I want to do more body detail.

Gotta Hand It to Ya

...they're not too shabby[does shabby translate?] Anyways, they don't look like sausages anymore. Went a little crazy with the Deco brush on the arms...can you tell?
Pershnosibly gonna do the body next.

Wide Eyes

So I was about 4 hours deep into my 2D to 3D rendition of my Happy Ass Dragon, and decided to "experiment" on Interactive Lighting WITHOUT saving prior to using it....result = Unresponsive Zbrush.

DAMN YOU online how-to on zbrush essentials!

Decided Eff-it and do something else and :unenthused: tada.
Will do more on the lower arms and legs later.

El Fauno - First of 2014

New year, new resolutions. One of mine will be to upload at a minimum of once a week. If not, I will have someone slap me as hard as they can...[wincing]and...I'll film it to post...??  ]:}

I reeeeally hope I don't fudge this.

To give myself a chance, I'll can upload in advance...AS LONG AS it's another project. [I wonder if this is just making more work for me? :L hmmm We'll see.

As for this current and first project of 2014, El Fauno. I was playing Castlevania Lords of Shadow and saw their rendition Pan. That guy was huge and very different from the Pan's Labrynth faun. It reminded me more of Darksiders' Ostegoth, one of the merchants, but nonetheless, this had been on mind.

This was also my first time sculpting hair. I didn't put much attention to it, but for a quick sketch, I liked the turnout.

Here's to a Happy New Year and Good Juju all around!
